We offer individual & group supervision for mental health practitioners, particular those in the early- and mid-career phase of their journeys.

Our philosophy of supervision

Psychotherapy is a relational act. Who we are in therapy is a large determinant on how therapy proceeds. Drawing attention to what we’re bringing to the room is as important as paying attention to what the patients need. Our supervision, then, is focused on developing the personhood of the therapist. So, for us, supervision is a lot more than just asking “what can I do in this case” and shifting the attention to “how can I be” in the room. We work with your family-of-origin concerns as well, and see how they play out with your patients, and help you check those at the door so you can be supported in your personhood and professional-self, while also being their more wholly for your patients.

By nature, therapy is also an isolating profession. It’s helpful to have one or more supportive voices along with our own as we do this work.

  • Individual supervision

These are one to one sessions with your supervisor. You are encouraged to bring your cases and the dilemmas you hold with them so that you can bring attention to how you’re thinking and feeling about them, and about you in relation to them.

  • Group supervision

There is much to be gained from learning together. In a group, we each have a chance to present the processes we are working with, and offer to each other our thoughts and support as we take on this difficult work.

Confidentiality policy in supervision

Confidentiality works the same way in supervision as it does in therapy. With respect to you, the supervisee, everything you share it kept confidential in perpetuity. Also with respect to your patients, you are encouraged to use pseudonyms so we also continue to protect and respect their confidentiality.

Cancellation policy

You may cancel or reschedule a minimum of 48 hours in advance; else, the session will be charged in full. This applies for your attendance in group supervision as well.

To schedule an introductory session, please get in touch via the contact form & we’ll get back in touch with you. Please mention there that you’re interested in supervision, not therapy.
